The Conway Stewart 37 is a pen that has been specially designed and commissioned by Andy's Pens from Conway Stewart, one of the most prestigious pen manufacturers in the world today. It is available exclusively through Andy's Pens shop and website. Its design was inspired by the eyedropper pens of the 1920s. It retains the advantages of an eyedropper filled pen, including an unrivaled ink capacity (it will comfortably accept over 3ml of ink per fill), extreme simplicity, and excellent reliability. By using today's modern design and manufacturing methods, we have overcome the main drawbacks of the original eyedropper pens such as inconsistent ink flow. This pen is loosely based on the Conway Stewart 37 which is a very rare and sought-after model today. The new 37 is made from glossy black resin with a unique engraved pattern. Although slightly larger than the original to accommodate Conway Stewart's superb large solid 18 carat gold nib, it has that unmistakable simple cylindrical form and flattened ends. A very understated pen with no extraneous metal adornments, it is pure function. The new packaging for the Conway Stewart 37 has been designed to house your fountain pen and to serve as a showcase pen stand for the desk. The display box is crafted of luxurious full grain leather in a rich black colour. Not only is this an elegant and stylish presentation to house and protect your gift, the top of the lid can be reversed to make an executive desk stand for display.
