AC236: Platignum Silverline Lettering Set, boxed.

This is a very nice boxed Platignum calligraphy set.  The whole set is in excellent condition with no noticeable scratches, no chips, cracks or splits and no damage to the trim either.  It includes a glossy rlight olive green Platignum Silverline fountain pen with a chrome plated cap top button and a chrome plated pocket clip.  The barrel imprint has not fully taken - whilst most of it is deep and crisp, part of the first line is absent - it has probably been this way from the start.  The pen is a Pressmatic filler (similar to the Parker Aerometric filler) - so you unscrew the barrel to gain access to it.  The sac guard is chrome plated and is still bright and shiny with no wear or tarnishing.  The original silicone ink sac is still in excellent condition with just some minor colour casting from use.  The set comes with the original 6 Platignum nib sections.  They are all straight-cut italic nibs in fine, medium, broad, B2, B3 and B4 points.  Only the broad nib looks like it has ever been used.  In the bottom of the box is the original instruction sheet.
