AC344: Swan Self-Filler No. SF2 DUMMY Shop Display Pen.

How rare is this item?  Outwardly identical to a Swan SF2 fountain pen, this is in fact solid hard rubber, with a dummy gold filled filling lever inset into a barrel slot. It is in excellent condition, and totally undamaged apart from a chip in the barrel next to the filling lever.  The "cap" does unscrew as ou can see in the pictured below.  It and the barrel are very nicely chased, and both bear an imprint.  The cap, "SWAN SF2", exactly the same as the fountain pens have, but the barrel imprint says "SWAN PEN DUMMY / NOT FOR SALE", along with the Swan logo.  

I must confess that I have never seen one of these before, though I do know that they existed.  The chip to the barrel is unfortunate, but not disfiguring, and I suspect these shop dummies came in for some pretty rough handling.
