Varuna Coloured Acrylic

The Coloured Acrylic pens are hand-turned from solid rods of acrylic resin. The beautiful patterns in the resin are unique to each pen. You will never find two quite the same. This pen has been designed to resemble a vintage pen with its flat top and bottom. It is supplied with a gold plated pocket clip, but this can be removed if you prefer a more "vintage " feel. The acrylic resin is partially translucent and if you use this pen as an eyedropper, you can see the ink level remaining by simply holding the pen up to the light.

Each pen is supplied with a complimentary "Eyedropper Kit" consisting of a 3ml graduated pipette for filling, an instruction card, and a small pot of silicone grease for the barrel threads.

The Coloured Acrylic pen is available with a superior quality iridium-tipped German nib in fine, medium or broad widths. The German nibs are a screw-in unit that fits inside a custom ebonite Varuna section. It allows unparalleled flexibility in that the pen can be used with standard "international" sized ink cartridges, as standard ink converter (included), or if you still prefer the eyedropper's huge ink capacity, you can remove both cartridge and converter and use it as an eyedropper.
