CS398: Conway Stewart Dinkie, boxed.

This Dinkie pen was made in 2009, just before Conway Stewart ceased production of the Dinkie pen for good.  It is a brand new pen, complete with full retail packaging, and a full manufacturer's guarnatee.  Needless to say it is totally undamaged and has never been filled.  It is in the beautoful Lapis Blue colour and has a medium nib.  The Dinkie pen was a re-make of the classic Conway Stewart dinkie from the 1940s.  It is a good facsimilie both in size and style to the Dinkie model 550.  The cap has a conical-ended top jewel made from the same colour resin as the cap and barrel, and the classic Conway Stewart pocket clip with the "CS" logo at the shoulder and the diamond shaped terminal.  Below the pocket clip are two narrow girdles in solid 18 carat gold.  The barrel has a good clear imprint which includes the pen's serial number, and the section is black with a medium point 18 carat gold nib.  The box is the Conway Stewart Luxury Diamond presentation box.  The central diamond of which can be removed, and with the lid reversed, it can act as a desktop stand for your pen.
