Resulting from research and development between designers from Bologna and the Aquila Group, the Ducati sport pen evokes the motorcycle design and technology that has achieved so many breathtaking victories on racetracks around the world and made "Born in Borgo Panigale" a force to be reckoned with in the world of competition.

The Ducati pen collection expresses the Ducati personality and draws inspiration from historic models built by the Borgo Panigale manufacturer.  Nothing is left to chance.  Like in production motorcycle manufacturing where every part and component is carefully designed down to the smallest single detail, the Ducati pen has been engineered for high performance and gorgeous style.  A pen as unique as the classic Ducati models of the '60s and '70s that inspire it.

The first thing to notice is the weight: exquisite metal details and the polished aluminium cap make the Ducati a well-balanced pen, pleasant to hold, but with a "weight" that signals quality.  

A design faithful to the models that inspired it.  he right side of the cap has a chromed cheek with the typical finish of the petrol tanks of the ers and bears one of the best-known Ducati logos, the Scrambler eagle wing while the band on the cap recalls headlight covers of the time.

The pen's foldaway clip, whose lines recall the drilled disk of brakes preserves a particularly linear design whilst also guaranteeing efficiency and precision in its function.  A simple and particularly effective suolution.

The engine is an inspirational element for other components and the pen: the grip above the nib mimics the design of the intake bell and in all models, the band under the bell becomes a decorative element between the shaft and barrel end.  

The Ducati pens are lacquered and marked by a coloured band that runs along the centre line, typical of the petrol tanks of the motorcycles of the period, like the Scrambler and the GT; black for the yellow and the red pen and burgundy for the orange pen - reminiscent of a much-loved motorcycle, the Spaggiani.  IN the ballpoint model, the rotation opening moves the band precisely 180 degrees, creating an asymmetry that is particularly interesting in the design.  

They can also be matte black or metallic silver: an unusual and pleasant-to-hold textured finist.  There is also a version with coloured cap and matte black barrel (with a band matching the colour of the cap for the yellow, orange and red models).
