INOXCROM originated from a small company established by Manuel Vaqué Ferrandis in Barcelona in 1942. At the beginning, the company manufactured fountain pen nibs based on technology developed by the family and marketed under the INOXCROM brand. Eight years later, the company began to manufacture its own complete fountain pen, which became the main pen used by several generations of students. This was the practical implementation of the founder's idea and became the basis fore company's success: offer consumers high quality products at the best price. INOXCROM has changed a lot since it was founded. After having developed from manual manufacturing systems to a fully automated production plant employing hundreds of people, the company has become as cosmopolitan as the city of Barcelona where it originated. It has subsidiaries in France, the UK, Italy, Germany and the USA, it is present in more than 75 countries and is a leading force at international level.
