King of Pens Speciality Nibs

The following Speciality Nibs are available for the Sailor King of Pens.  Because these nibs are all hand made they command an extra price over and above the base price of the pen.  With each nib, I will quote the total price of the nib fitted to the King of Pens.

Naginata Togi

Naginata Togi:  The 'Naginata togi' is a specially tipped nib which resembles the Japanese Samurai long sword. 'Naginata Togi' means 'Long curved Sword'.  The unique tip and special polishing allows the smoothest of writing stroke with distinct writing personality. It has amazing ink flow properties.  It can also be reversed which allows finer writing strokes.  It is available in Medium Fine, Medium and Broad point sizes.

Nagahara Cross Point

Nagahara Cross Point: This is a double layered nib specially crafted and tipped by the nib master - Nobuyoshi Nagahara. He carefully slits the nib and creates the 'cross' at the tip. The tip is then specially ground and polished to perfection. The additional ink channels provide a smooth and constant ink flow to the nib surface. The nib is basically classed as a BB grade. The expert tipping and polishing of the nib allows the nib to be reversed with a fine to medium writing width! A very flexible nib with tremendous character and quality.

Nagahara King Eagle

Nagahara King Eagle: This is a triple layered nib made only by Mr. Nagahara. The specially slit nib creates a 'double cross' at the tip surface which is then ground and polished to perfection. Depending on the angle of writing this nib can write broad, double broad, and also triple broad in addition to fine to medium when reversed. There is no tab affixed to this nib. When viewed from the side this nib section looks like the Eagles Head. Ink flow is exceptional.
