LU038: Luoshi No. 768.
Date: c2000s
Size: Length - 5 5/8 inches capped;
6 3/4 inches posted.
A
lovely larger sized Chinese fountain pen.
This
pen is new old-stock, and has never been used. Needless the
say there is
no damage on this pen. The barrel is made from a lovely orange
marbled resin with wide "deco" style borders at either end. The
cap is
black with a gold plated top and a robust-looking gold
plated pocket clip. Tere is a wide gold plated cap band that has
the "LUOSHI" and "768" imprints. The end of the barrel is
also black, with a gold plated end and it is shaped so that the cap can
post securely. The section is black with decorative machine engraving
in the barleycorn style, with a gold plated band at the forward end
adjacent to the partly gold plated steel nib, which is in a medium
point. This is a
cartridge/converter pen. You
unscrew the barrel to fit wither a standard international size
cartridge or you can use the original standard ink converter that is
already
fitted.
The nib
on
this pen is very
smooth and writes with a good wet and consistent medium width
line.
