LU040: Luoshi No. 668.
Date: c2000s
Size: Length - 5 1/2 inches capped;
6 3/4 inches posted.
A lovely larger sized Chinese fountain pen.
This
pen is new old-stock, and has never been used. Needless the
say there is
no damage on this pen. Both barrel and cap are finished in a
glitters jet black "crackle" that reminds me a lot of the Rotring
"lava" finishe pens. The cap has a domed gold plated top with
a
good sturdy gold plated pocket clip with a decorative border.
The gold plated cap lip band is wide and bears the maker's
name and model number of the pen. The end of the barrel is
also gold plated and tapered so that the cap will post. The
section is frosted metal with more gold plated bands fore and aft.
The stainless steel nib is partially gold plated and also
bears the manufacturer's name. This is a
cartridge/converter pen. You
unscrew the barrel to fit wither a standard international size
cartridge or you can use the original standard ink converter that is
already
fitted.
The nib
on
this pen is very
smooth and writes with a good wet and consistent medium width
line.
