PA1401: Parker 51 Aerometric.

A beautiful glossy teal blue English Parker 51.  I have looked over this pen very carefully and I really can't find any damage at all on it.  There are no splits, cracks, chips or scratching to barrel or hood and no dings to the cap.  The grey top jewel is clear with no chips or cracks.  The chrome plated Parker short arrow pocket clip is bright with no brassing.   The lucite barrel and hood are still glossy.  The lovely 14 carat gold hooded nib is undamaged and is in a fine point.  Unscrewing the barrel, the Aerometric filler is also frosted and unmarked by damage.  The original pliglass ink sac is still fitted and is still in excellent condition.  There is some internal ink staining in the ink sac, but this is an unavoidable consequence of use.

I have fully serviced this pen. The  nib is very smooth, as you would expect, and it writes with a superb wet and consistent fine width line.
