If your enquiry is for a vintage pen or accessory, don't forget to quote the item's reference number, as it ensures we are both talking about the same thing. As payment, I accept UK sterling cheques, sterling cash, or online and credit card payments using Paypal. As Paypal is an instant form of payment, it is really handy for those occasions when you need an item fast. Please note that because of the way Paypal fees are structured, payment for orders of less than £10.00 using payment will be liable for a 50 pence surcharge. All prices quoted in this website are in UK pounds. I am always happy to accept returns that have been dispatched to me no later than 2 weeks after purchase for any reason. This gives you a chance to get to know your new pen before deciding if it's right for you or not. As long as the pen is returned in the same condition as when you received it I will send a full refund, less the cost of postage. I regret that I cannot give a full refund on a pen that I describe as never being inked or used if you actually ink or use it unless there is a fault with the item that I did not point out. Please contact me before sending the pen back as often any problems can be ironed out with nothing more than an e-mail or two. In all cases, I MUST receive the item back with me within 4 weeks of the original purchase date if you require a refund. I guarantee all vintage items to be free from faults arising during normal use for a period of three calendar months from the date of sale of the item. During this period I will repair any faults free of charge, and if I cannot repair the fault I will issue a refund as above. In the first instance of a problem please contact me before returning any item. I can usually reserve an item for you for up to two weeks. However, I can only reserve an item for you if you intend to purchase it - reservations cannot be used to provide a bit of thinking time if you are not sure whether you want it or not, as this is unfair to other customers. Unless an item is already reserved I will always accept the first firm request to purchase. This is a rule I have to make it fair to all customers and give everyone the same chance. After the two weeks, I will e-mail you to see if the item is still required before removing the reservation. If you wish to reserve an item for longer than two weeks please contact me as I can usually accommodate most requests. I will usually ask for a £10.00 deposit per item that is to be reserved. If you have a specific requirement please ask me about it as I have a request book that I keep so I know what customers have asked for. I usually have some new and some vintage pen boxes available for a small fee (usually £1.00 and up), and I can also arrange for any item to be gift-wrapped, also £1.00, or £2.00 with an appropriate card. |
For new items you will be covered by the manufacturer's guarantee, which in most cases will include replacement of the item when returned to the manufacturer. The terms and conditions for new items vary from manufacturer to manufacturer so please refer to your guarantee for details. Unfortunately, I am unable to accept returns for new items if they have been used in any way. |

Shipping to UKI only send vintage pens and pencils using fully insured postage. All vintage pen orders under the value of £30.00 can be sent by first class postage for £2.50. All vintage pen orders with a total value over £30.00 will incur a £4.50 postage charge. If you require next day delivery this can usually be arranged; please ask me about it. Shipping OverseasI only send vintage pens and pencils using fully insured postage. For overseas orders, I use the Royal Mail International Signed-For service. This is a recorded and fully insured form of airmail. All vintage pen orders sent overseas will incur a postage cost of £6.50 and will be sent using this method. Refunds Refunds to UK customers can be sent by cheque or Paypal. Refunds to overseas customers will be sent using Paypal only. |
ShippingBecause the desktop items and writing accessories vary in size and weight you will find postage costs quoted for the UK, Europe and the US (including the rest of the world) along with the base price for each item. If you would like insured and/or recorded delivery on any item please ask for a cost quotation. The postage cost advertised does not include postal insurance, but I am always happy to provide it at cost.
