Dragon, Phoenix, Unicorn and Ogre were and still are considered "Supernatural Creatures" with the Dragon leading the pack.  Visconti interpreted this theme with great creativity by creating a collection of four fountain pens in a Limited Edition.   The themes have been drawn from some of the greatest civilisations; Japan, China, and Ancient Egypt and Greece.

The subjects here represented have a strong emotional impact and are presented using the Maki-e technique.  All pens are painted directly on celluloid, without the usual pre-lacquering with Urushi in order not to cover or obscure the natural beauty of the ivory coloured celluloid.

Each design is limited to a worldwide total of just 188 pens.
