This is the Madreperla Blue Bologna pen. It is made from a deep blue resin that at first glance looks to be a solid colour, but is actually very subtly pearlised. This pen is totally unused. It has sat in my stock room since just before Omas folded, and to tell you the truth, I had forgotten even that I had it, so it has never been out of its box apart from today, when I photographed it. So to all intents and purposes, it is a brand new pen. The pen has a 14ct gold nib and all trim is rhodium plated. The cap has a conical ended top with a rhodium band inlaid into it. The pocket clip has a very simple but inherently practical design. The wide cap lip band is imprinted OMAS at the front and ITALY at the rear. The barrel tapers a little at the end to allow the cap to post securely, and it is adorned with a single narrow rhodium plated band. The section is also rhodium plated with a finger stop at the forward end. The 14 carat gold nib has the lovely Bologna engraving and it, too, is rhodium plated. This is a cartridge/converter filled pen, and is currently fitted with its original and unused ink converter. The box has the flocked grey interior with the grey pen pouch. Below the pad is the instruction/warranty booklet. The box has a silver-coloured lid. Around the outside is the black card slip-case. All in excellent, and undamaged condition.
