A very nice jade green Permanite Lady Duofold. It is in very good condition with the only damage being the usual darkening of the barrel and cap. This is more pronounced on the barrel, with the ends of the cap more or less free of the discolouration. The cap has a gold filled boss and chatelaine ring on the flat milled top button, and triple gold filled bands at the lip. This would date the pen to around 1928, give or take a year or two. The barrel end blind cap unscrews for access to the original brass filling button. This operates smoothly and the pen fills as it should. Further up the barrel is the imprint. This is still very clear and crisp. The original 14 carat gold Parker Duofold nib is in a fine point, and the original and correct spear feed is also still present.
I have fully serviced this pen. The nib is very smooth and writes with a wet and consistent medium width line. It is also a soft nib and will even give a tiny bit of line width variation as you write.
