An attractive jet black Lady Skripsert with a gold coloured mesh overlay. These pens were first produced in the late 1950s with a superb simple and understated design - no pocket clip, and with the cap fitted they have an undisturbed and smooth line to the pen. Unfortunately, this pen is only in fair condition, exhibiting, as it does, typical wear to the black enamel and to the gold reticulation over much of the surface. Such wear is sadly only too typical of these pens and it is very seldom I see one in undamaged condition. The pen has a cigar like shape with the ends of the cap and barrel tapered. It is a cartridge filled pen and is used with a standard Sheaffer ink cartridge, or a standard Sheaffer ink converter (not included) will also fit if you prefer. The nib is a conical Triumph in palladium silver and in a medium point.
I have fully serviced this pen. The nib is very smooth in use and writes with a very nice wet and medium width line. Definitely an everyday writer, this one, and priced accordingly.
