A lovely glossy blue marbled Conway Stewart No. 22 pencil in its original boxed and with all gold filled trim. This pencil is in excellent condition and the only damage I can see is a tiny bit of plating wear to the pocket clip ball. There are no splits, cracks or chips and not even any noticeable surface scratches. Both barrel and cap are glossy and the gold-plated trim bright and shiny. The conical ended "streamlined" black top button holds on the washer style pocket clip. The pocket clip has the usual CS logo at the shoulder and a ball-shaped terminal. At the lip of the cap is a gold filled band, and another ban is adjacent to it at the top of the barrel. The cone is also gold filled. Around the back of the cap is a good deep and crisp imprint. The cap pulls off to reveal a barely used but well-fossilized pink eraser, with several spare leads beneath. The original box is also very tidy with no damage noted. Inside is the original instruction sheet.
I have fully serviced this pencil. It is a propel-repel pencil and it works very smoothly by rotating the cap. I have installed a fresh 1.18mm lead so it is all ready to go.
