A beautiful jet black Fyne Poynt pencil from the mid to late 1930s. This is an old-stock pen - it is in excellent condition with the only damage being some discolouration and a little age-deterioration plating on the point. There is a fluted gold filled pocket clip of the stepped Deco style on the small cap. This is held on by a small black stud that also forms a step with the pocket clip washer. The cap unscrews to reveal the unused but by now petrified pink eraser in its little brass cup, and there are several spare 1.1mm leads stored beneath. Both cap and barrel are very glossy. Mid-barrel is a pair of narrow gold filled bands. The barrel imprint is still crisp, clear and deep. This is a twist-actuated pencil - you turn the point to wind the1.18mm leads in and out.
I have fully serviced this pencil and it works well and sits in the hand very nicely.
