WA436: Waterman L'Etalon Rollerball.

A good sized lacquered rollerball pen.  The L'Etalon was a very upmarket pen when it was launched, and the quality is certainly still there today.  The pen has an all-metal construction with gold plated trim and a beautiful dark bottle green lacquer finish.  It is in excellent condition with no damage at all that I can see.  The cap has a gold plate band at the top which holds on the pierced pocket clip which is very much a Waterman trademark.  The gold plated cap lip band has a PARIS imprint around the back and a hexagonal cutout at the front.  The barrel has a gold plated end piece, and the band at the forward end has the rest of the imprint engraved around it.  This rollerball pen accepts a standard Waterman rollerball refill.  It currently has its original black refill that works perfectly.
