PA3231 Parker Slimfold. (Soft Medium)

This pretty little glossy burgundy Slimfold is in good condition.  Both barrel and cap are free from cracks, chips and splits.  They have a beautiful glossy sheen and have no scratches or other blemishes at all.  Through a loupe I can just make out some plating wear to the raised parts and edges of the pocket clip, but this is not noticeable at all without magnification.  The cap has a rolled gold pocket clip that is held on by a conical burgundy top "jewel".  The 14 carat yellow gold Parker No. 5 nib is in a medium point.  The aerometric filler is accessed by unscrewing the barrel.  It is also undamaged with the original pliglass ink sac which shows just a little discolouration.  

I have fully serviced this pen.  It writes very smoothly and produces a wet and medium width line.  The nib does have some softness and will provide for a tiny bit of line width variation as you write.
