A very attractive glossy very dark green Victory in very good condition. There is a tiny bit of plating wear to the very tip of the pocket clip and some minor scratching to the barrel end blind cap, but that is the extent of any damage on this pen. The tapered cap has a large conical-ended black top button holding on the washer style gold filled tapered Parker pocket clip. All the gold work has a very good bright and shiny appearance. There are also two narrow gold filled cap bands. The barrel end blind cap unscrews easily and smoothly to reveal the aluminium filling button. The metal is still bright and unmarked. The barrel imprint is nice and crisp and clear - much better than I usually see on these pens, and there is a date code for 1952 to the right. The nib is a 14 carat gold Parker Newhaven in a juicy broad point.
I have fully serviced this pen. The button filler works very nicely. The nib is very smooth and writes with a wet and consistent broad width line. It is a soft nib and will even provide some very attractive line width variation from a medium to a generous broad width with very little effort.
A very nice Victory in the most uncommon colour for this model.
