A real local interest piece - well, for me anyway. The Sharp's factory used to be just down the road in Maidstone. This is a lovely metal paper knife in its original box. It looks like it may be made from pewter as it has that lovely pale grey colour and sheen. I don't think it has ever actually been used; it is still in its original greaseproof paper sleeve. The handle of the knife is in the form of a wrapped sweet and has the Sharp's parrot on one side and Sir Kreemy Knutt on the other. There's no damage to the knife but the box has some very minor corner wear.
