This is a rather attractive and rather unusual Burnham pencil. I am not sure what it is made from - probably a rhodium plated base metal or "nickel silver". This is the first all-metal Burnham pencil I have ever seen and until now I was unaware that any were ever made. It is in excellent condition with no damage that I could spot. The barrel is decorated repeating groups of vertical wavy lines. The cap has a domed top button that holds on the Burnham imprinted pocket clip. This is a propel-repel pencil that works by twisting the cone. I have fitted a fresh 1.18mm pencil lead into the mechanism so it is all ready to go . If you unscrew the cap, there is a lead storage area inside that is plugged by a pink eraser.
I have fully serviced this pencil. It works perfectly.
