This Conway Stewart 75 is in very good condition but is let down a bit by the chrome plated trim, which has discoloured and worn. The top button has brassed quite a lot. The pocket clip shows a little foxing but is still generally bright. The narrow cap band has a little wear to the edges, and the filling lever also has some foxing. This is not nearly as noticeable looking at the pen with the unaided eye as it is in the close-up photos, and the pen is generally very attractive looking with a nice glosst celluloid barrel and cap in the marbled blue colourway.
The chrome plated cap top button holds on the chrome plated "CS" monogrammed pocket clip. This one has the diamond-shaped end. There is also a chrome plated cap band. The filling lever is also chrome plated and has the "CS" monogram within a diamond imprinted onto the circular end tab. The barrel imprint is still good and crisp and deep and easily made out. The nib is a Conway Stewart No. 3 in a medium point.
I have fully serviced this pen. The nib is very smooth and writes with a very nice wet and consistent fine width line. This nib is also quite soft and will provide some very attractive line width variation for you as you write.
Would make a great every day expressive writer, and is a very good looking pen.
