This is the long model 759 in jet black casein and gold filled trim. Both cap and barrel are nice and glossy with no splits, cracks or chips and no noticeable surface scratches either. The gold plating to the trim is all in nice bright condition with no apparent brassing. The cap has a black hard rubber top button that still has a good dark black colour. The washer-style pocket clip "CS" cipher at the top within a diamond shaped cartouche. There is another diamond at the bottom of the clip. There is also a single narrow gold filled cap band. The barrel has a short filling lever with a circular end tab that also has "CS" imprinted within a circle. The barrel imprint is lovely and clear. The section is also in unfaded black hard rubber. The nib is the original 14 carat Conway Stewart No. 2 in a broad point.
I have fully serviced this pen. The nib is very smooth in action. It writes with a generous wet, broad width line, and is also a soft nib. It has a good springy action and will provide for some very attractive line width variation as you write.
