Size: Capped - 128mm, posted - 155mm.
A burgundy and black marbled casein Conway 15. Both barrel and cap are beautifully glossy and the whole pen is in excellent condition with no damage that I can see. The cap has a conical ended black top button that holds on the chrome plated pocket clip. This has the "CS" logo within a diamond at the top and another diamond at the bottom. This is the early model with no band around the cap lip. The barrel has a conical end. The imprint is still in excellent condition with apparently no wear, and the filling lever opposite is chrome plated with a circular end tab. It has the "CS" logo imprinted within the tab. The nib is the original Conway Stewart No. 1A in a medium point. The box is also in nice condition. There is a litte ledge wear to the lid and the base has a large ink stain in one corner. Structurally, it is still sound.
I have fully serviced this pen. The nib is very smooth to write with. It produces a good wet and consistent medium width line. The nib has a little softness with a good springy action that will give just a tiny bit of line width variation.
This pen is in beautiful condition - one of the best Conway 15s I have had so far.
