A very large oversized Chatsworth pen in a beautiful Sunset Orange resin, with what is probably the best looking Henry Simpole overlay that I have ever seen. The foliate design is very open and delicate and to my mind is just stunning. The overlay on both cap and barrel is fully hallmarked hand cut solid sterling silver. The cap has a slightly domed top button holding on the washer-style pocket clip, also made from sterling silver. This has the Conway Stewart cipher at the shoulder inside a diamond-shaped cartouche. Another diamond shape makes up the terminal. The barrel unscrews for filling - this is a cartridge/converter fill pen. It is already fitted with its original ink converter, but if you prefer, you can unscrew this and use standard International sized ink cartridges instead. The 18ct gold nib is partly rhodium plated and in a medium point. This pen comes complete with its original Conway Stewart Diamond box, which can be removed and used as a desk stand for your pen. This fits into an outer box, and this, in turn, fits inside a simple black protective box. Inside is the original guarantee booklet. In the back, the certificate of authenticity states that this pen is one of only four made in this colour (numbered 1 of 4 in the book, and also on the end of the barrel. This pen has never been used and is still in pristine condition. You'll probably never see another one of these, so it's very much a once in a lifetime opportunity.
