A very pretty little Dinkie made from a beautiful pearlescent red resin. The colours on this pen shimmer and change in the light, and the whole thing is semi-translucent. This is a very late Dinkie, the final model to be produced before Conway Stewart bit the dust in the 1970s. It is in very good condition. I can see no scratches or surface marks anywhere, the pocket clip and filling lever do show some plating wear though that is very common in these late Conway pens. The cap has a small conical gold plated top button that holds on the gold plated pocket clip. This has a triangle at the shoulder with an arrow shaped terminal. There is a single gold plated cap band below the pocket clip. The barrel imprint is crisp and deep and the gold plated filling lever is straight and quite dumpy. The nib is shiny and totally undamaged, marked "Conway" and "14ct Gold" and is a medium point.
I have fully serviced this pen. The nib writes very smoothly with a very nice wet and fine width line.
