A very pretty red and black woodgrain hard rubber pencil that would date from the late 1920s or early 1930s I would think. There is no manufacturer's name on it so I have no idea who made it, but it seems to be of reasonably good quality, and it is remarkably well preserved with the only damage being a little discolouration on the pocket. The black hard rubber crown can be twisted to extend the lead; this is an extend only mechanism so you have yo use your thumb to help the lead back should you extend it too far. The pencil uses 1.18mm leads, and I have installed a fresh one into the pencil so it is all ready to go.
I have fully serviced this pencil. It works perfectly.
An interesting pencil in really nice condition.
