A very nice chunky celluloid pencil in a lovely burgundy and black marbled colour with a hexagonal cross-section. I am guessing that it would have been made around the 1940s. It is in very good condition with the only damage that I can see on it being some minor plating wear to the point. It is a propel-repel pencil - twisting the gold-plated point extends and retracts the 1.18mm lead. It has a black celluloid end piece that can be unscrewed to reveal a lead storage area beneath. I have installed a fresh lead into the mechanism, so it is all ready to go.
I have fully serviced this pencil. It is working perfectly.
