This rather scarce Parker 45 Harlequin is in excellent condition and can have hardly been used. Having looked it over very carefully, I have found a few very small and light scratches on the surface of this pen, but nothing that you will notice without using a loupe. It has a chromed Parker arrow pocket clip and chromed clutch ring. Around the cap lip is a crisp and clear imprint including the date code for 1981. The section is in glossy, unmarked black plastic. The 14 carat gold nib is in a medium point and is also completely undamaged with a generous blob of iridium at the tip. These Harlequin pens were made in the early 1980s and are now very much sought-after. The barrel unscrews to allow filling of the pen. It may be used with either a standard Parker ink cartridge or filled from a bottle with a standard Parker ink converter (not included). The original box is also in excellent condition with a little bit of wear to the flocked lid top as most of these boxes have. Also included is the instruction sheet tucked inside the lid.
I have fully serviced this pen. The nib is very smooth in action and writes with a lovely wet and generous medium width consistent line.
