A beautiful and almost pristine '51 repeater pencil. I can find no damage on this pencil save for a couple of the finest scratches on the cap frosting. The textured frosting on these caps is so delicate that if the pencil is even used a couple of times you tend to pick up a few of these scratches and they are by no means readily noticeable. The cap has a very nice clear grey jewel and the long arrow chrome plated Parker pocket clip. At the cap lip is a narrow polished band, and just above the band is the "PARKER" imprint. The barrel is glossy and is in the Dove Grey colour. At the top of the barrel is the main imprint complete with the date code for 1953. At the cone end, it is chrome plated with black coloured scoring to afford a better grip. You can pull off the cap, and below is a barely used pink eraser, and below that are a few spare 0.9mm leads.
I have fully serviced this pencil. The pencil works by pressing the cap. This releases the clutch mechanism to allow the 0.9mm lead to extend. I have fitted a new lead into the clutch, and it is ready to go.
