A full-sized glossy jet black 1940s Duofold pencil. Very attractive with its gold filled trim. The only damage I can see on this example is a little thinning to the plating at the point. It doesn't appear to be brassed, but I can see the plating is a bit thinner here, which is understandable as you twist this part to extend and retract the 1.18mm leads. The celluloid cap and barrel are lovely and glossy with no noticeable scratches and all the other trim is bright and shiny with no brassing. The cap is topped with a conical black top jewel, which holds on the tapered Parker gold filled pocket clip. Below, at the cap lip is a single wide gold filled. This is a propel-repel pencil that works by twisting the point. The cap also pulls off to show an apparently unused but well petrified pink eraser with several spare 1.18mm leads beneath. I have also fitted a fresh lead into the mechanism so the pencil is all ready to go.
I have fully serviced this pencil. It works very smoothly.
