This is a very good condition Parker 21 Super in glossy dark blue. I have spotted a single very tiny ding to the side of the cap - too small to successfully photograph. This is the only damage I was able to find. The Lustraloy cap has a chrome plated pocket clip that has a raised central ridge and an imprinted feather at the shoulder, similar in style to that fitted to the Parker 45 and arrow point at the terminal, with a chrome plated top "jewel". The bright midnight blue barrel and hood are completely unmarked. The Octanium nib completely undamaged and in a fine point. The aerometric filler is also undamaged with a lovely and shiny steel sheath. The original Pli-Glass sac doesn't look like it has even seen ink and retains all its original transparency, so as far as I can tell, the pen has never been filled. I rarely find Parker 21s in the UK, and the dark blue colour seems particularly elusive.
I have fully serviced this pen. The nib is very smooth and writes with an excellent wet and consistent fine width line.
A classy 21 Super. These seem to be so much rarer than the 51s, possibly because they were pens that actually got used and used to death. This one looks quite the opposite - as far as I can tell, it has never actually been filled.
