A glossy deep blue Victory Mk. V. Condition is very good. Barrel and cap are both glossy with no splits, cracks or chips or even any noticeable scratches. The only damage I can see on this pen is some discolouration to the rear part of the sac guard, which is very common on these pens. All the trim is in great shape with no noticeable wear, and the cap and barrel have a glossy appearance with no scratching or scuffing evident. The cap has a blue conical top "jewel" with a rolled gold Parker arrow pocket clip and "deco" engraved cap band. The barrel imprint is rather shallow as many of these 50s and 60s imprints are but it is just about all still there. The barrel unscrews to reveal the Aerometric filler. This is also in very good condition. In common with all early Aerometric pens, the filler is chrome plated. The original pliglass ink sac is still present and still nice and supple. It has hardly any of the usual internal ink stains and retains the majority of its original transparency. The nib is a lovely shiny Parker No, 10 size nib in 14 carat gold in a medium point. The original box is rather worn externally with scuffs and surface wear. one of the ends of the lid has been taped up.
I have fully serviced this pen. The nib is very smooth to write with and produces a wet, medium width line. It does have a little softness and a pleasant springy action.
