A super glossy burgundy red Duofold Junior in excellent condition. There are no noticeable scratches to either barrel or cap, and the only damage I can see on this pen is some thinning of the plating to the edges and raised spine of the pocket clip. The Parker arrow pocket clip and deco engraved cap band are both rolled gold. The burgundy cap top jewel is glossy and undamaged. The barrel unscrews to reveal the Aerometric filling system. The brushed steel protector is in excellent condition. The original pli-glass ink sac has the usual internal ink staining but does retain a little of its original transparency - you can clearly see your ink level when held up to the light. It is still in good useable condition. These sacs seem to go on forever. The Parker No. 10 14 carat gold nib is in a medium point. The barrel imprint is nice and clear - much better than on most of these 1950s Duofold pens.
I have fully serviced this pen. The pen writes very smoothly with a lovely wet, consistent and medium width line. The nib also has a little softness which allows for a tiny bit of line width variation as you write.
