A glossy jet black Victory Mk. V. Condition is very good. Barrel and cap are both glossy with no splits, cracks or chips or even any noticeable scratches. The only damage I can see on this pen is some minor plating wear to the pocket clip's arrow point and some general discolouration to the interior sac guard. The cap has a black conical top "jewel" with a rolled gold Parker arrow pocket clip and "deco" engraved cap band. The barrel imprint is rather shallow as many of these 50s and 60s imprints are, and proved to be impossible to photograph clearly, but it is just about all still there. The barrel unscrews to reveal the Aerometric filler. This is also in very good condition with some minor discolouration to the sac guard. In common with all early Aerometric pens, the filler is chrome plated. The original pliglass ink sac is still present and still nice and supple. It has a minor black colour caste but retains the majority of its original transparency. The nib is a Parker No, 10 size nib in 14 carat gold in a medium point.
I have fully serviced this pen. The nib is very smooth to write with and produces a wet, medium width line. It is unusually soft for a 50s Duofold nib. I would say it is on the border between soft and semi-flexible. It will give you some very attractive line width variation from a fine to a broad with little effort.
