I see very few Parker 51 ballpoints. This one is in really lovely condition with absolutely no damage that I can see on it. It has really been looked after. This is an early Parker 51 ballpoint with the metal barrel threads so it probably dates to the 1950s. It has the "PARKER - 1/10 12cr R. Gold" imprint around the cap lip. The cap itself is all rolled fold with the "converging lines" decoration of the incised vertical lines. It has the plain glossy lucite barrel in the India Black colour and a rolled gold point. As this is a Parker ballpoint, you can get a huge range of different refill types to fit it including gel, rollerball, fine liner, etc.
I have fully serviced this pen. It works perfectly. It is fitted with a relatively modern Parker ballpoint refill.
Parker 51 ballpoints are very uncommon and are only getting harder and harder to find.
