A glossy deep blue Victory Mk. V. The condition is excellent with no damage at all noted for this pen. Barrel and cap are both glossy with no splits, cracks or chips or even any noticeable scratches. The rolled gold trim is all bright and shiny. The cap has a blue conical top "jewel" with a rolled gold Parker arrow pocket clip and "deco" engraved cap band. The barrel imprint is still complete and crisper than the norm. The barrel unscrews to reveal the Aerometric filler. This is also in very good condition. In common with all early Aerometric pens, the filler is chrome plated. The original pliglass ink sac is still present and still nice and supple. It has no noticeable internal ink staining and retains 99% of its original transparency. This leads me to think that the pen has harly been used in the last 60-odd years. The nib is a shiny Parker No. 10 in 14-carat gold in a rather broad point.
I have fully serviced this pen. The nib is very smooth to write with and produces a wet and generous broad width line. It is really quite a soft nib and will easily give you line width variation from a medium to a good solid double-broad with no problem whatsoever.
