A glossy black demi-sized Aerometric Duofold with rolled gold trim and an early Parker Newhaven nib. The pen is in excellent condition with no damage noted to either barrel or cap. I can find no plating wear to the trim and no other damage that I can see either. The cap has a black conical end "jewel" and a rolled gold Parker arrow pocket clip. There is also a wide cap band - also rolled gold - that has the usual "deco" engraving. The nib is made from 14 carat yellow gold and is in a medium point. The Aerometric filler looks very good to me, with an unblemished sac guard. The original pliglass sac is still fitted, and still in excellent condition with only mild internal ink staining, retaining a good part of its original transparency. The box is, I think, later than the pen; probably from the 1960s. It includes an instruction sheet. The Demi is one of the more unusual Duofold models.
I have fully serviced this pen. The nib writes very smoothly with a wet and consistent medium width line.
These Demi Duofolds seem quite scarce, and this one is in very nice condition.
