A lovely old-stock Parker Sonnet fountain pen in its original box and in pristine unused condition. This pen is finished in a luxuriously satin brushed finish pink gold colour to both cap and barrel. It has a rhodium plated pocket clip and cap band. This band bears the pen's imprint which reads "PARKER SONNET FRANCE IIII" - the "IIII" is a date code for 2015. So this pen has been sitting in a warehouse for about 5 years! The barrel has a small black disc inset into the end of the barrel. The finger grip is black with a narrow rhodium plated band at the forward end. The nib is made from rhodium plated 18ct gold and has a very attractive imprinted criss-cross line decoration. Unscrewing the barrel reveals the original Parker ink converter. You can also use standard parker ink cartridges if you prefer, and there are two of these in the box below the instruction booklet. The box itself is covered in grey fabric. Inside, the pen sits in a small flocked recess. The white outer card slipcase is also still present and this is also in lovely condition.
This is, and was, a very up-market Sonnet indeed! Sorry about the fingerprints on the pen in the pictures. I was sure to give it a wipe-down afterwards to bring it back to a pristine look.
