A beautiful stainless steel Sonnet pen in very good condition, and looks hardly used. The only thing I would mention on this pen is a slift posting mark to the frosting at the end of the barrel. This is hardly noticeable, and I am being really picky even mentioning it and some slight discolouration to the chrome plated band immediately adjacent to the nib - this often happens with these pens due to the humidity inside the cap. The cap has a chrome plated tassie with a black "jewel" in the centre. The chrome plated pocket clip has the trademark "feathered" shoulder and arrow point terminal. The imprint, on the wide cap lip band states "PARKER", "SONNET", "FRANCE II". The barrel has a rounded end and unscrews to allow the fitting of a standard Parker ink cartridge or if you prefer you can use the original Parker ink converter which is already fitted to the pen. The gripping section is slightly flared at the front for a good solid grip, and it has a very nicely decorated stainless steel nib rhodium plated nib in a rather unusual stub point. The original box is still present, with the instruction/guarantee sheet below the pad.
I have fully serviced this pen. It writes with a very nice wet and consistent line. As this is a sub nib it will give some very attractive if understated line width variation as you write with no effort at all.
