A Pilot Cocoon pen in its original box. This pen is in excellent condition and looks like it may never have actually been used. The Cocoon was a development of the very popular Metropilitan pen. This one is has a satin finish in a pinky purplish colour. The pen has a very nice rounded shape. The cap has a chrome plated pocket clip. The cap pulls off to reveal the very nice Pilot steel nib which is in a fine point. The pen will accept a standard Pilot ink cartridge, or a standard Pilot ink converter (an apparently unused Pilot Con-50 ink converter can be found in the box under the pad along with the original instruction sheet). The original white plastic almost cylindrical box has a clear plastic lid. The outer card slipcase is also still present and again it is in excellent condition.
I did just dip the tip of the nib to produce the writing sample. The nib is nice and smooth.
