This Targa is in lovely and hardly used condition. I can see no damage on it at all; it is still almost pristine. The lovely frosted cap and barrel are unmarked by scratch or ding. The gold plated pocket clip is pierced with the Sheaffer white dot att the shoulder. This pen has a flat cap and barrel end inset with a black disc. The cap pulls off to reveal the gorgeous inlaid nib which is marked as a medium on the underside of the gripping section. The pen is still fitted with its original and fully working squeeze-bar ink converter, though of course, you can use standard Sheaffer ink cartridges if you prefer. The brown flocked box has a brass bound base and is lined inside with a pinkish coloured satin. It, too, is in very nice condition with a little wear to the outside. Also in the box is the original instruction sheet.
I have fully serviced this pen. The nib, although marked medium, is more of a fine-to-medium when writing, though this may change with extended use, as I don't think this pen has actually seen a lot of use thus far in its life.
