A beautiful deep bottle green Fyne Poynt pencil from the late 1940s. This pencil is in excellent condition with no damage at all that I can see on it. There is a gold filled pocket clip with a central ridge and the Swan logo at the shoulder on the small cap. The cap unscrews to reveal the unused but by now petrified pink eraser in its little brass cup, and there are several spare 1.18mm leads stored beneath. Both cap and barrel are very glossy. Mid-barrel are a pair of narrow gold filled bands and above this is the barrel imprint which is still crisp, clear and deep. This is a twist-actuated pencil - you turn the point to wind the1.18mm leads in and out. I have installed a new lead into the mechanism so it is all ready to go.
I have fully serviced this pencil and it works well and sits in the hand very nicely.
