A very nice and really unusual hexagonal Wahl-Eversharp gold filled pencil made in the USA probably in the 1930s. Nealy all these pencils that I have seen in the past have been of circular cross-section. This is the first such pencil that I have been able to offer for sale with a hexagonal cross-section. It is in excellent condition with just the usual micro-scratches on its high polished surface. Itherwise, it is without any damage. The top knob is twisted to extend the lead - it is a propel-only pencil. There is a clear imprint at the top of the barrel. This pencil is not fitted with either a pocket clip or a chatelaine/watch chain ring, and this gives it a very clean and uncluttered appearance. There are no initials engraved or any other markings and the gold filling is nice and bright. All-in-all a very good looking pencil that would be suitable for any daily carry.
I have fully serviced this pencil. It is a propel-only pencil and I have fitted a fresh 1.18mm lead into the mechanism. It works perfectly.
