A lovely black lacquered Dunhill Sidecar fountain pen with gold plated trim and an 18ct gold nib. The Sidecar really is a classic design, and if you prefer a slightly slimmer pen, then you couldn't do better than this. It is in near pristine condition - no damage at all that I can see, and I don't think it has even been used. The short cap has the Dunhill logo picked out in gold, with a vintage style ball-ended pocket clip below. Around the cap lip is a narrow gold plated band. The pen's barrel has two further gold bands. The gripping section is also gold plated, and textured with a beautiful machine engrave barleycorn pattern. The medium point nib is engraved "Dunhill" and "18K - 750". The barrel unscrews to reveal the original and as far as I can see, unused ink converter. The original box has a black velveteen interior with a lovely soft pad. Outside, it is a textured black paperboard. The original instruction booklet is held underneath the presentation box by two elastic straps.
This is just a beautiful pen and in pristine condition too.
