This lovely Flighter is still in excellent condition. It is presented here in its original box and it appears to be hardly used. There is no damage at all on this pen that I was able to find. It has a chromed Parker arrow pocket clip and chromed clutch ring. The section is in glossy, unmarked black plastic. The barrel has the chromed end that was introduced in 1970, I believe. The nib is in a medium point, made from Octanium alloy, and is also completely undamaged with a generous blob of iridium at the tip. The barrel unscrews to allow the filling of the pen. It may be used with either a standard Parker ink cartridge or filled from a bottle using the original Parker ink converter already fitted. The original textured black plastic hard shell Parker presentation case is also in excellent condition. It has a red flocked pad and a white satin lid lining. The whole thing is clean and tidy. Under the pad are the two original and unused Parker ink cartridges. The out slipcase is still present and this does have some edge scuffing and general wear. Interestingly, there is the original price label to one end of the box.
I have fully serviced this pen. The nib is very smooth in action and writes with a lovely wet and medium width consistent line.
