Size: Length - 126mm.
A glossy and very attractive grey and black striated Waterman's Post-war pencil. This pencil would have been paired with a W-series pen. These were made in the UK in the late 1940s and 1950s. This pencil is in excellent condition with, unusually, no appreciable plating wear to any of the trim. The pencil has a gold plated top button, with a gold plated "deco" style pocket clip depending from it. This has the "WATERMAN'S" imprint at the shoulder. Near the cap lip is a pair of narrow gold plated bands. The cap will pull off to reveal a white eraser with space beneath to store spare 1.18mm leads, although there are none there at present. This is a propel-repel pencil that works by twisting the point. This consists of a black piece to which the gold plated point is mounted. I have installed a fresh lead into the mechanism and it is working perfectly.
I have fully serviced this pencil. It works perfectly.
