A very attractive slim Waterman Laureat fountain pen in a blue and black lacquer finish and in very good condition with just minor surface wear to the cap and barrel.  The Laureat was a very popular mid-range Waterman model.  It has a gold plated cap top with a gold plated pierced pocket clip that has the Waterman logo at the shoulder.  There is a narrow gold plated band around the cap lip that bears the  "Waterman" imprint.  The forward part of the barrel and gripping section are black, with ribbing to the finger grip which affords a really good positive purchase when writing.  There are a further two gold bands to the barrel.  The end of the barrel is shaped to accommodate the cap when posted.  This pen will accept a standard Waterman ink converter (not included) or if you prefer you can also use standard Waterman or International sized ink cartridges.  The gold plated nib is in a medium point.  

I have fully serviced this pen. The broad point nib feels very smooth on paper and writes with a very pleasing wet and consistent line..
